Educational activities

The Department teaches a various courses mainly related to logistics systems analysis and modeling methods and technologies. Program of study includes the basic simulation, subjects of discrete event simulation modeling system, involving both theoretical and practical aspects, as well as subjects related with the use of simulation in logistics, transport, economy and other economic spheres. From September 1, 1998 to June 30, 2004 was training with master's and engineering study program - "Industrial Logistics Management", which, in cooperation with Ghent University (Belgium) and University of Karlsruhe (Germany) established the European Training Foundation-funded TEMPUS project "Industrial Logistics Management" program. Currently, on base of this study program is developed a master’s program "Information technology" specialty "Industrial Logistics Management System".
